& MISSIONS
INTERNSHIP
One of the 昀椀rst things you’ll no琀椀ce
when you land here is a tangible
sense of the aloha spirit- it’s one
of the things that makes Hawaii
special. The ‘Ohana Groups ministry
(‘ohana means family) supports all of
our midweek gatherings in homes
throughout the island which build
meaningful rela琀椀onships with others
while growing in Christ. Our goal is to
grow our church smaller while growing
larger by connec琀椀ng the Hope Chapel
family into small groups, to experience
a place to belong, a safety net, a social
connec琀椀on, and spiritual growth.
The Small Group & Missions Intern
assists in all the major projects and
ongoing ministry tasks to ful昀椀ll the
mission and purposes of ‘Ohana
Groups and also global missions. You’ll
oversee the ‘Ohana Groups table a昀琀er
weekend services, and make weekly
follow up calls to new members to
connect them into the Hope Chapel
family. You’ll also play a key role as you
follow up with those who have just
been bap琀椀zed at our beach bap琀椀sms
three 琀椀mes a year. Responsibili琀椀es
also include assis琀椀ng behind the
scenes to prepare for our midweek
educa琀椀onal classes. This posi琀椀on calls
for someone who has a self-starter
personality! It is highly administra琀椀ve,
yet also very rela琀椀onal.
